Where is Wyoming, Michigan?

Located in west Michigan, just southwest of Grand Rapids, Wyoming is more than a suburb. With a population of about 74,000, Wyoming is the 20th largest city in Michigan and the 2nd largest in Western Michigan. It is strategically located in the heart of West Michigan. This prime location, next to Grand Rapids, offers a variety of transportation sources that cater to business, industry and recreation. The US-131 freeway links Wyoming to Western Michigan, while I-196 offers access to Detroit, Lake Michigan and Chicago. The new M-6 freeway provides access to southern Kent County. The Gerald R. Ford Airport, five miles east of Wyoming, allows quick access across the US and beyond. Additionally, two major rail lines provide train transportation.
