The City Clerk and her staff welcomes the opportunity to assist community members with public information. Located in the lobby of City Hall, the City Clerk's Office is the primary point of contact for the public and staff regarding City Council actions. We respond to public requests for records and maintain and produce documents that enable the public to participate in local government.
Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)
The City Clerk is the designated Freedom of Information Coordinator for the City of Wyoming. In the event an inquiry requires a Freedom of Information request, it is necessary to mail or fax this written form to the City Clerk's office. If you are requesting information specific to the Police Department, it is necessary to submit this written form to the Records/Information Services area of the Police Department. Documents may be viewed or copied and there may be a charge for the time necessary to gather the documents as well as a charge for copying the information
The Mayor chairs the City Council meetings and has a vote on the Council and the Mayor Pro Tem, a Council Member selected by the others, chairs the work sessions.
The Formal Sessions are held at City Hall in the Council Chambers on the first and third Monday of each month at 7:00 PM and the Work Sessions are held at City Hall in the Council Chambers on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 PM to review items for upcoming meetings.

High Tech Council Chambers
Join us at a City Council meeting and observe Council members utilizing laptops to conduct proficient meetings. Chamber highlights include: computers at council dais give council members access to paperless agendas; multimedia projectors provide audience views of presentations; document camera provides enhanced viewing of maps, site-plans, and other documents by audience and council members; and improved camera configurations allows for streaming of video within City facilities and improved camera angles during televised public meetings.
All government programming is cablecast on Channel 26. City Council meetings are aired live on Mondays at 7:00 PM and repeated on Thursday at 7:00 PM. Planning Commission meetings are aired live the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM and repeated throughout the month on Tuesday’s at 7:00 PM.
