Administration
The Clerk administers all elections for the schools and City, federal, state and county government.

The following City of Wyoming elected offices will be on the November 5, 2013 ballot:
- Mayor 1 four year term
- Councilmember at Large 2 four year terms
- Councilmember 1st Ward 1 four year term
The City Charter requires that candidates be registered electors of the City of Wyoming, and a resident of the City for at least one year prior to the filing deadline. Candidate packets with the required forms and instructions are available in the City Clerk's Office. The filing deadline is 4 p.m. on May 14, 2013. If more than twice the number to be elected file in any office, that office will have a primary election on August 7, 2013. Voter Identification Requirement

Sign up to be an Election Inspector
We maintain a pool of 200 workers who are called upon to work during elections. Print and complete this form to become an Election Inspector. Return the form to the City Clerk's office.
Register to Vote
If you are not registered to vote, have relocated to Michigan or moved from one municipality to another, you may register by completing the official voter registration form and mailing it to the City Clerk's office.
You may also return it to any of the following agencies:
- County Clerk's Office
- Department of Community Health
- Family Independence Agency
- Michigan Jobs Commission
- Secretary of State Branch Office
- State Agencies

Where and when do I cast my vote?You must cast your votes on an official ballot, which can be found at the designated polling locations. The polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. Visit the Michigan Secretary of State Voter Information Center's web site for voter registration information.
