Treasurer's Office
Our Treasurer's Office strives to ensure the timely and accurate billing and receipt of all payments to the City. We collect all City, County and school taxes on real estate and personal property, as well as all fees and service charges. Our responsive Customer Service staff handles various inquiries regarding tax bills and special assessments and will assist you with the use of the public display terminals. Payments Payments for property taxes, water/sewer bills, special assessments, planning fees, inspection permits and invoices, community development loans, and Kent County dog (available from December through February) licenses are collected at the Treasurer’s Office. |

Electronic Payments for Taxes and Utility Bills As part of our commitment to provide citizens with efficient, convenient service, the City of Wyoming has partnered with Official Payments to offer payment of taxes and utility bills over the Internet at www.officialpayments.com and by telephone by calling 1.800.272.9829. To make a payment by telephone, use Jurisdiction Code (7056). | |
Tax Bills can be paid with American Express ® , Discover ® , MasterCard ® , and Visa ® credit and debit cards. Utility Bills can be paid with American Express ® , Discover ® , and MasterCard ® credit and debit cards.
Note: Official Payments, the service provider, charges a convenience fee for payment. Other Payment Options Payment may be made by check payable to the City of Wyoming with your payment stub or account number enclosed with your check. Or, you may pay in person at the Treasurer’s Office or by using the drop box located at the northeast entrance to City Hall. Payments received before 5:00 PM will be credited the following day. Please do not send cash by mail. If you can’t pay… We know that financial emergencies can arise unexpectedly. If this happens to you, contact a Customer Service Representative at 530.7389 as soon as possible. Payment arrangements can be tailored to your individual needs.
