Historical Commission - Public Education

KoezeAs a way to serve the community and to promote the history of Wyoming, the Wyoming Historical Commission occasionally hosts presenters, speakers and performers to present a diverse variety of history related topics.

Most presentations are free of charge and are of interest to all ages including adults, families, as well as teachers and students.

Past topics have varied from life in the Civil War to the current preservation of the Norton Burial Mounds, a nationally registered historic site in the City of Wyoming.

Most programs are presented at the Wyoming Public Library. If you are interested in seeing a specific topic presented or would like to recommend a presenter or inquire about upcoming programs, please call us and leave a message at the History Room. (616)261-3508.
