Metro High School Police Academy

Established in 1996, the Metro High School Police Academy is made up of ten police departments that work together to form partnerships with area schools, service organizations and local law enforcement training academies.

This very unique program offers interested high school juniors and seniors a hands-on look at law enforcement. Through this experience students can decide if law enforcement is the right career choice for them. The academy lays a solid foundation for students that graduate and go into law enforcement.

Metro High School Police Academy "The Academy taught me practical skills that I will use in future employment. It was so much fun! I wish I could go through it again."
